Milani Luminoso Baked Blush

As a blusher junkie i am, at last i could not resist the temptation of having Luminoso in my stash. It is raved by many, for sure, and now it is my turn to see whether i love it or not.

About the product (from www.milanicosmetics.com)

A luxurious powder blush that features a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous. Silky smooth application leaves your face looking healthy and radiant all day.

Price : 89000 rupiahs on local online store.

Amount : 0,12 oz

What i think....

Baked Blush has nine shades, and mine is Luminoso. Luminoso is very pretty in the pan. It looks like a marble and i love it. When it is swiped, it delivers pretty peachy color with golden shimmer. It looks good especially on an olive skin. It gives a natural glow. Whereas on me, who has pink undertone, it look somewhat orange. When i use it, it gives me glamour mature glow, not the girlish flush that pink blush on ussually gives.

The packaging is nice with gold color. It looks grown up-ish and just compliment marbelized texture from the blush. I havent dropped this blush, *applaud myself*. So i cant really say about the sturdiness. But so far i dont have complain. The applicator works well though the bristles are not very soft.

It is very pigmented and hard to blend. I espescially like to use dual fibre brush to pick the colir, only to make sure i pick just correct amount. Any leftover color would be hard to swipe off with tisue and i am not a big fan of covering it with powder. It turns the pretty sheen down.

It stays very long, 5 - 8 hours on my oily combination skin and has satiny finish that enhance the cheekbone. If i use it slightly, it seems like i do not wear blush on, only my cheekbones get more definition and i look less pale.  The blush definitely get praised from me, applaud Milani for brings out high end blush qualities tagged in drugstore's price. Though Luminoso is not my favorite  color,i am  very well pleased with the quality and i think i will repurchase in Dolce Pink

Conclusion

I would recommend this for you who is looking for an everyday blush. It is going to look flattering. Pretty without looking too much. Any skintone will be able to pull this off for sure, but i think olive skintone would pull it off best.

Bella Swan Vampire Failed Attempt!

BREAKING DAWN is ON!
.
.
And I am here in the library working on my internship report. Oh, well! What a life! hehehehe
Though i haven`t got the chance to watch my favorite movie, i am still happy, because today i am sharing with you my Bella Swan Vampire Look hehehe

.

So, here it is the look that i am trying to imitate, when i first see the picture, it seems to be so easy, with copper and deep brown eyeshadow dominating the look. But this look that i created will be minus the red eye contact lens. I am just too afraid to wear lens >.<

But, my version seems to went wrong. First i need to smudge more and create deeper eye make up. Mine is too simple maybe, plus my eyes are almond eye so definitely different with Bella`s
So here is my version

1. Apply copper color on eyelids

2. Apply dark brown eyeshadow for outer corner. Blend well. I also add a very natural fake eyelashes, because in the picture, Bella seems to have those very natural eye lashes. Btw, i really messed up the glue, that is why please please pleasee excuse those ugly left eye with apparent glue on the bristles

I use this kind of falsies. Short and the hairs are sparse

3. Add some dark brown to lower lash line, just 3/4 of it, and then dab beige eyeshadow on 1/3 of inner lash line for highlight.
4. Don`t forget to curl falsies and the eyelashes together

RAWWRRRRRRRRR! Asian Bella is here (OMG, sorry being racist hahaha!). RUN before i bite you off!!

And this is more composed and elegant pose of Vampire Bella
hehehe
I added coral lipstick, but seems to be not enough, it needs to be more opaque.

Caring Colors EVERLAST in Silk Pink
Revlon New Complexion Two way foundation in Tender Peach
Milani Baked Eyeshadow in Copper
Luview Baked eyeshadow in Gold Brown
Fake eyelashes
Max Factor Lash Fusion Mascara
ZA plump lip gloss in 07

Though failed, i did have a good time on making this look. I hope you will too ^^.

Have a nice day,
Hana

Lovely Copper! Milani Baked Eyeshadow Review

Hi girls! Hana is finally back hehehe.. I got accident about a month ago which explains why this blog has been so quiet lately. Well, i am still wounded, as a matter of fact, but now i can sit which enable me to start writing again. Yay! Can`t wait to fully recover!

Last month my juniors were back from overseas. They kindly brought me make ups. So, all of the sudden, upon their welcoming party , i got make up from Belgium and USA. Aaa, can`t be happier! Thanks!

One of them is this lovely copper color eyeshadow from Milani. Honestly this is my first baked eyeshadow *newbie face* and i like how the eyeshadow is beautiful and marble - like

I got my shade in COPPER EXCESS, it shadows beautifully and sometimes i mix this with my pink blush on to achieve pink-gold sheen look. Ah ya, it is made in Italy!

 What i like about thiS...
+ The color! Great for everyday use
+ The marble like look
+ The packaging is sturdy lha.. Quite okay..
+ It can be used wet and dry, soft or intense. WICKED! Look at the swatch below. Here i am not using any make up base, this shadow only. The left one is intense because i applied it wet, whereas the right one is softer when applied dry :)

+ Affordable, around 8 USD
+ A lot of product! I am not sure i can finish this within a year...

What i hate about thiS...
- The texture is not very smooth.Hmm how should i say it? Quite sandy
- The packaging is very boring mah...
- The moon shape applicator is hard to use, i find it very inconvenient
- Hard to find in Indo

Sum UP...
I would say that the copper is lovely. I love the shadow tho it is not my HG yet. It is pretty and worth the money, i would totally repurchase this in another colors. I would give this a 4,5 rating outta 5. So, have you girls try this? Do you like it?
