Karl for Shu Smoky Velvet Pallete Review

I think i have posted too many selcas and FOTDs recently
so
Now is time to make a really really GOOD review!
hahahaha
Just afraid you got stomachache by seeing too many pictures of me.
Don`t be, okay?
.
.
Today I am back with Karl for Shu Smoky Velvet Pallete Review
This is quite a new released pallete by Shu Uemura brand
I am sooo lucky to be able to laid my hands to this beautiful pallete for free because i won a competition recently.

The pallete is retailed at around 735.000 rupiahs ( i think)
Price may vary though.
You can get this pretty pallete at Shu Uemura counter near you

It comes with a pretty card box that feels quite gothic in the same time.

I like this front look below here. So pretty. The brand name is embossed in red and it looks professional, gothic, and classy all at the same time

When you open the card box, TADAAA.. This uber cute pallete comes out!

In the back, written the description about what is inside. Inside there are five eyeshadows and one blush.

See? Even the inside mirror is pretty! hahaha. I love how this mirror have monshu girl pattern.

There are two applicators and surprisingly they work well.
Unlike those ones i encounter in cheaper palletes before.
I like the sponge tip the most because it is great for applying deep colors on the outer corner of the eyes

It has two silk smooth eyeshadow. The top two, black and green.
Another three are pressed eyeshadow.
And the blush? It is the bottom right with pink colored.
I was disappointed that the blush is this small.
I was hoping on getting bigger size blush >.<
Huk huk huk...

The eyeshadows are easy to blend, smooth in texture, and very pigmented.
With the applicators at hand, the eyeshadows are easily applied.
I swatched the eyeshadows and blush below without primer and they show up very nicely.

The pressed eyeshadow has this fine shimmers that looks radiant on my eyes. But, the silk smooth eyeshadows are a bit too much on glitters. Sometimes the glitters fall out      >.<, true glitterbombs.
It stayed all day, even on the oily lids. I used this pallete to do make up for my auntie and she said it stays all day, from the morning church ceremony to wedding reception at night.

Product:4/5
Pigmentation: 5/5
Texture : 4/5
Longevity : 5/5
Application: 4/5

All in all, i love this pallete against all odds!
Thank you Shu Uemura for giving this to me
I am really grateful!

Wardah Peachy Pink Pallete Review

Aight, this will be my last post before i drown myself into books and work on my internship report. Gah, you know girls, yesterday i got shocked therapy from my lecturer, stating that i got only a week to finish the whole report. Because of my very bad accident two months ago, i haven`t start a scratch of it.  OMOOOOOOOO... Now i am in the state of panic, confused and excited in the same time. Excited? Yah i do, i work better on pressure and this kind of pressure is a challenge for myself whether i can make it or not. * curcol dikit* hehehe
.
.
.
Hmm before that dark week started, let me enjoy talking with you about this wardah peachy pink pallete. I use this in almost all of my FOTD recently. I love it! And i will tell you why..

Product description:
This is a lip pallete contains eight colors. They are combination between Wardah`s matte and exclusive series, some is matte, and some is glossy.

Price:
49.000 in your local cosmetic store or supermarket

Packaging wise, it is not cute but yeah, it looks okay with silver color. It looks tough and professional. When i open the pallette, Taraaaaa.. the mirror is huge, man! hehehe It is clear also. I like it! The applicator is nice also. It certainly does the job, it is not scratchy and looks pretty with a clear handle.

Color range is just great! These are the color that i would likely wear. It is ranging from nude, coral and pink. Pretty!

The pallete smells nice, like baby scent smell. Consistency is great also. Eventhough it does not stay long on my lips, 3 - 4 hours top!~ the color is quite opaque. It sinks on my lips fine line, though not exaggerate it. What else? Oya, this pallete contains Wardah`s matte and exclusive collection. I find matte colors dry out my lips upon application >.<

SWATCHES:

Sorry i am spamming you with this huge lips of mine hahahaha. Once in a while is okay, isn`t it?
Overall this is a great buy for me. For a girl like me who loves to experiment and learn make up, this pallete offers all. Pretty color, great color pay off, affordable price and nice scent. Eventhough there are minor problem like drying out my lip, i think that is acceptable. Mostly matte lipstick are like that, and we always know that we can always put on lipbalm before hand. End of the problem. I will certainly collect this pallete lha!

Rating: 4.5/5

Now, it is time for me to bid you goodbye and telling myself "Hit the book! Hit the book!" hehehehe.

Bye chicas,
Hana

Coastal scents 88 Original Pallete Review

Tons of colors to play with, cheap price and good quality eyeshadows.

Those are three things that describe this pallete the most. I bought this for around 250.000 at Make up Brush FB. Since then, this has been my toy, and my best friend to do a little experiment on make up. When i first received the package, the silver pan falls off, i have to stick it with a double tape. It comes with a little mirror and two applicators. The mirror is so small, quite disappointing, >.< because i like bigger mirror better. The applicators are useless too, it is stiff and hurt my eyes when i use it. They don`t have enough sponge to deliver a good and comfortable application. After several times using these applicators, I throw it away and change them with a better ones.

Hmm, it is just the start and i have talked so many minus points about this pallete >.< (MY BAD!). It doesn`t mean that this pallete is not good tho. It is great, really....

Now, look at the pan! It contains 88 eyeshadows with matte and shimmery range. Very pretty! Most of them are pigmented. You can see the swatches. I swatch them without any primers, and the colors kick so well. Vibrant! But some colors like beige and pale colors are not that pigmented. I may need to apply it over and over again.

Just a little tip, this eyeshadow is easy to fall out. So, don`t forget to tap the excess before applying, or you can put a lot of loose powder below your eyes to catch the fall out. Inspite this down part, the application is quite easy. Blendable and the texture is good. It glides easily on my eyelids. It stays for 4 -5 hours after that it is going to fade. For a monolid like me, the eyeshadows would likely to crease, so eyeprimer is a must.

After about a month using this pallete, i already created some looks. See them here and here. My favorite beauty guru, Sasaki Asahi is also using this a lot. She also use another pallete from coastal scents like the warm pallete, shimmery pallete and blush on pallete. I really want to collect the other pallete ^.^... Lets save money! hehehehe..
