and i can`t help being very curious.

Packaging~

I can`t say much about the packaging. It is just an ordinary packaging with clear plastic.

It looks cheap, but it is. The packaging serves the purpose, it won`t leak so far and the cap is tight.

What i don`t like...

- The liquid is too runny 

-It feels greasy on my face

- The shimmer wears off pretty easily, 1 -2 hours top

What i like...

- I like the pointy tip because it helps us to get enough amount of product without spilling any.

- Other than that, i love how the whip is blendable and easily spread, maybe because the runny concistency. Bare in mind that if you want that glowy look, you might want to skip powder. The magic wears off after applying powder, it just feels like you do not have any shimmer.

- The whip highlight well without making my face like a disco ball.

- The shimmers are subtle and it is tagged in a very affordable price.

ELF Essential Shimmering Facial Whip is an okay product for me. 

If you are looking for an affordable highlighter that this maybe it. 

It serves the purpose well, and it gives our face dewy look.

You can mix to your foundation and BB Cream 

or just apply it right on the spot that you want to highlight.

Etude NYMPH Aura Volumer 2 #PINK review

I am currrently in search of a good shimmering base that can be blend into one with foundation :). If you read my glowy tangerine post, i do not have a shimmering base at the moment and use MISSHA M Shiny for a subtitute. Missha is too shiny tho, it has a noticeable shimmer that i dislike. So, i try this infamous volumer from Etude House called NYMPH Aura, in pink.

I tried the sample size, but if you happen to buy fullsize, it is around 125.000 rupiahs in online shop and obviously a lot higher in ETUDE stores nationwide.

IMO (in my opinion):

Nymph aura 2 is a shimmering base with subtle pearl. What i mean subtle is that the shimmer is not very noticeable if you blend real well. The finish will be dewy glowy like Korean artist. One thing that i notice about it is a very strong fragrance. I do not mind tho because i like the fragrance,but if you are sensitive to fragrance then this may not be for you. The fragrance is so strong that it stays fragrant after i put on my face and i can still smell it after one hour!

The texture is not very runny and blendable. I ussually use this to highlight my cheek bone and nose bridge. More than that would be too much on my taste. But if you like, you could also blend with your bb cream to achieve more glow. I also get a "dillemma" on using this NYMPH Aura, hehehe. It is too sticky that i do not feel comfortable about it, but if i dust it with powder, the glowy finish will be mattified as if you wear no NYMPH Aura beforehand.

Conclusion:

I think NYMPH Aura is a good shimmering base, i like the finish of it. But i am still not sure whether i am going to purchase the full size of it due to the stickiness. You may like this if you do not mind sticky face and fragrance, because the pink undertone will really compliment the skintone. It gives off a healthy glow.

Review Max Factor Masterpiece Color Precision Eyeshadow

I bought these babies sometime around last month, and the result have been satisfying. I have two shades, which are icicle rose and also coffee. Both have two functions, as eyeshadows and also an eyeshadow base. 

 COLOR DESCRIPTION.....

Icicle rose: Shimmery white eyeshadow with a hint of pink. Great for highlighter.

Coffee: Brown eyeshadow, and great for everyday color

PACKAGING
Packed in a lipgloss-like tube, it becomes very handy to bring along. The applicator is also like a lipgloss. It is pretty sturdy and doesn`t leak on my purse


COLOR, PIGMENTATION, TEXTURE, AND LONGEVITY
I think this is one of my favorite make up product. No kidding. They both are so useful i like `em very much. The color is very pretty. Icicle rose even works well as a highlighter. I use it on the tearduct, nose bridge, cupid bow and my cheek bones. The result are very natural, and the shimmer is subtle. Wooww, this is all i can ask for a good highlighter!!


 It is also pigmented. You absolutely can see it in my swatch, one swap and it is enough for the whole lid. Well, my eyes are definitely very small. If you have bigger eyes, you might need more. 


The texture is creamy, easy to blend, but it dries very fast. You need to blend right after you apply it, because if you don`t do so, the color might dries up, and you end up with those ugly hard edges and uneven color.


The last good thing about it is the longevity. These products definitely stays put the entire day. Since i am a working girl who do my best to stay pretty :P LOL, i ussually put make up on 8.am after cooking. Then, i ussually do not do any touch up until 10 pm. I would say wearing these alone is enough. I go home, and the pretty colors from these eyeshadows are still there. Fade a bit? Yeah. But it still looks okay. 


Other than highlighter and eyeshadow, you can also use it as eyeshadow base. Three purposes in one product! Waaa.. hehehe here are the swatches for you.. 

The icicle rose is pretty right? It reflects the light therefore great for highlighting the face

The one in "hearts" are eyeshadow + Maxfactor masterpiece, whereas the other is only eyeshadow

This eyeshadow definitely intensify the color. Icicle rose makes the eyeshadow looks richer, whereas coffee intensify the eyeshadow and makes it darker. Hmm, i like it both! How about you? Have you tried these eyeshadows?

REVIEW: Sariayu Shimmering Powder Bena

Glowing complexion and perfect contouring are two korean make up highlights. But little i know that this kind of look can be achieved through a local brand too. I used to think that local brand means "heavy" make up and colorful eyeshadows, whereas korean brand offers subtler color and natural make up.

This shimmering powder that i am going to review today is a great product from Sariayu. I mainly love this because it is an ALL KILL product. It contains four colors that can be used separately.

WHITE : Sparkly and glittery color. I use this for the tear duct, cupid bow, and sometimes i use this on top of a lipstick so it looks very shimmery

BROWN: Many people use this as bronzing color, but personally i think that it is hard to pick with bronzing brush. Instead i use this for eyeshadows. Perfect for everyday.

PINK: Beautiful subtle pink that is great for blush on.

Creme: This is the greatest part, i use this mainly to highlight my nose bridge, and if i blend this color with the others, i can use it as a highlight for my cheek bones. 

The packaging is sleek and and flower pattern just make it perfect. It also comes with brush and plastic pouch. But i lost them somewhere in my room :(. The brush was soft though. Very nice.


The texture can be a little bit powdery when i use it too much. But as long as i use it sparingly. It really flatters my face. The shimmer is also subtle, it accentuates my face with healthy glow without making it like a disco ball. I also have a similar product name PAC Shimmering powder, compares to that, this product provides more down to earth glow. PAC Shimmering powder is perfect for party look, whereas Sariayu shimmering powder is more into everyday look.

The glow last all day. I ussually apply this for my school make up and  my face still glowy after  4 -5 hours. For me,  i think it is a worthy products to buy. I would recommend this for:

1. Korean make up lover

2. Someone who loves to have dewy - glowy look

3. Someone who is looking for affordable but good shimmering powder

PAC Shimmering Powders

 What is this?

This is a stack of shimmering powders by PAC. PAC is indonesian brand for professional make up artist. The shimmering powder contains pearl to add shine onto your face. It creates glamour style and great for party and photo sessions. 

			How to use this?

I ussually use gold or cryztal and put them as a highlight onto my face. I put it along my cheekbones, cupid bow, my browbone and the inner corner of my eye. I also use this for theatrical make up, for shiny face and an “iron” man look.

Swatch:

                If you buy a stack, then you will get 4 colours in one. It is around 300.000 rupiahs or 35 dollars ( price may vary). You can also buy single pot, but it is only available in gold color and crystal color. The single is bigger than the stack. J.  Here are the colors:

What do I think about this shimmering powder?

                I love it, I think this is one of my holy grail! My teachers in the beauty school also use this as their secret weapon for a bridal look. The color payoff is great. The shimmer amount is a little bit heavy for daily use, but if u just put a tad bit, it is gonna be fine. Eventhough it is quite pricey, it does last  a long time. I like this to create a dewy glow, and it does make your face looks glamour. It is pigmented and last the whole day. The shine goes down after four hours, but dewy glow still remains in your face. If you use this, I suggest you to use a fan brush. And then blend it really well.
