Sariayu 25 Best Choice Colors Eye Shadow Pallete Review

Morning, ladies!

I seriously love this kind of morning, i especially woke up early today.

Just sitting around, read a romantic novel and ponder.

Ya, ponder and think how i can learn from my mistake yesterday.

I seriously pay the price for being too curious, wanting to shaken other`s privacy and end up making someone precious to me embarassed. I learn and i promise myself to never do something like that again.

Anyhow, today i am back with another pallete review from Sariayu, a local brand from Indonesia. 

During 25 years, Sariayu has continuously making a color trend, unceasingly depict natural richness and Indonesian culture. This pallete is the best choosen colors from 25 years of color trend.

I forgot mine, but i think it is about 140.000 rupiahs or about $14

Packaging and Overall Products

Packed in feminine purple cardbox that has magnetic lid, i personally think the packaging is pretty. It comes with two applicators which i lost already. Sorry >.<, but as i remembered, the applicators were two spongeheads and they do not work properly. Just so - so applicators. It comes with beautiful 25 colors, mostly shimmer and satiny. Hmm also two creme shadows.

Here i did some swatch, no primer whatsover,

 i just casually dip my fingers in and you can see how pigmented it is.

Even pale colors like white and gold appear nicely.

What i love from this pallete

- Affordable and available in Sariayu Counter everywhere

- The colors are true, pigmented and nice despite the affordable tag.

Do you know the difference between high end and low end eyeshadow?

High end eyeshadow ussually has more pigment inside, so what you see in the cake ussually their true colors. Nah, now that with Sariayu pallete i got true colors, this must be a great deal. Affordable with the quality of high end products.

- Some of the colors like brown and gold are very versatile to go for party.

- It is not chalky 

What i dislike about the pallete

- I was hoping the applicators were nicer. I would definitely keep them if they do.

- I find it a little bit powdery. Hmm, just do not forget to swept away any fallouts.

Conclusion

All in all this pallete is limited edition and definitely a great buy.

I have had this for a long time, and still has this build up curiousity to make more looks.

It simply does not bore me out, which is a great thing.

The colors are true, and last long even without primers.

The pallete is one of the must have for a party make up stash!

Just a while ago Shu Uemura launched their newest make up collection with Monshu Girl as the icon.The collection is so darn cute! I am in love with their fashion false eyelashes. They are just so eyecatching with that combination of black and red!Don`t you think so?

This is my version of Monshu Girl. I look weird? I knoww.. hahaha.. but i think that is the point of being Monshu Girl, weirdly pretty. 

I am sorry i forgot to take pictures of each step hehehe. I was not in the mood for it because Surabaya is tooooooo HOT! Crazy, in my mind i was just thinking like this, "Quick finish it! Before your foundation melts!" hahahaha. So I think i will describe, i hope you understand.

Eyes:

1. Apply a shimmery white eyeshadow all over the lids, focusing on your inner corner and tear duct.

2. Apply black eyeshadow all over the lid, skip your inner corner and apply A LOT on your outer corner. Your focus is to make the color opaque. Don`t forget to make a sharp V shape.

3. Then apply silver eyeshadow and put it in the middle of the eyelid, just above where your eyeballs ussually located. Blend everything and make sure there is no sharp edges.

4. Take out you gel eyeliner and make a curve. Blend the line with sponge tip applicator

5. Take out liquid eyeliner and make "fake" bottom eyelashes.

6. Put FOUR fake eyelashes to your eyes. Glue them together and make sure they are CETAR MENGGELEGAR! hahahaha just like Syahrini.

Face:

1. I just use two way foundation. This kind of foundation melts easily on me and not very long lasting. But yeah, it is enough to cover all the imperfections for those 3 hours self photo session hehehe

Battle of Loose Powders

 

Loose powder is a must have for us woman. How many of you start using loose powder as your very first make up? *raise my hand up* hehehe.. I bet many of you do. I am personally still a big fan of loose powder and will continue to do so. Right now i have 8 loose powder in my stash >.<  Why so much? Well, i am just curious and wanted to use the best lha. So, anyhow, i pick these four favorite affordable loose powders to be compared on. Curious? Please read more ^.^  

 

Aight, today i will comparing Sariayu Energizing Loose Powder in Kuning Langsat, Marcks Loose powder in Creme, Revlon Touch and Glow Loose Powder in Creamy Beige and also 3W clinic Loose Powder  in *23

*Packaging :
Sariayu and Marcks do not have sifter. You just simply open the plastic lid and pad the sponge down inside. Hmmm, i think it is very inconvenience, because i do spill a lot of product when try to open the lid >.<. Whereas Revlon and 3W Clinic come with sifter. It has tiny holes that works well on omitting powders. I always get sufficient amount for each application. Love ^.^. All four of them does not have cute packaging. But, i think Revlon does  better with the black cap. At least it looks professional.

* Pigmentation : 
Sariayu ( top left) and Revlon ( top right) have the most pigment. Sariayu (kuning langsat )is more to yellowish tone whereas my Revlon creamy beige has slightly pink undertone. Marcks ( bottom left) and 3W clinic ( bottom right) has very sheer pigmentation. It turns to be translucent when applied to the face. Pigmentation does talk about the coverage though, Revlon and Sariayu covers redness, whereas the bottow two powders only mattifying the face. I personally love pigment, so i will give higher rating to those which are pigmented.

*Texture and Application:
3w Clinic has the finest milled powder out of four. It settles nicely on my face too. Sadly, it oxidise a lot on me. Revlon is good, it does not oxidise so much and does not cake. Marcks is powdery >.< and Sariayu is hard to blend and cakey. Both Marcks and Sariayu are not as finely milled as Revlon and 3W Clinic

*Longevity and oil control:
Revlon is the winner for longevity! It stays on the whole day. Next is Sariayu Energizing Powder. But, Marcks beats Revlon on oil control. Marcks, and 3W clinic are sheer and fade out in 3 hours or so >.< Ack! Especially for 3W, it oxidises, so it leaves out grey cast on my face.

*Scent:
Sariayu is the worst! Very strong and the scent is likely to be those grandma scent. The other three are deeply scented too. So, if you are sensitive to the perfume, these babies might not be for you. Since scent is very very subjective, i would not rate this. I just thought you would like to know hehehe.

Budget Friendly Loose Powder

Akhir - akhir ini aku lagi tertarik sama produk lokal. Simply karena aku percaya kalau produk Indonesia juga bagus - bagus kok, cuma mungkin jarang di rave dan belum ketahuan. Aku mikirnya sih, kalau ada yang murah dan gampang dicari, kenapa cari yang mahal? Hehehe. 

Apalagi sejak dua minggu yang lalu, aku nemu toko kosmetik di dekat rumahnya Chris ( my boyfriend ) 

Jadinya aku suka ngumpulin uang receh dan kembalian, ntar kalau akhir minggu, aku mampir deh kesana beli pernik - pernik kayak penjepit bulu mata atau bedak dan eyeshadow. Dua puluh ribu rupiah bisa buat beli bedak satu, penjepit bulu mata dan bobby pin. Lumayan banget, kan. Hmm, aku suka banget belanja dikit - dikit gini, a simple treat for a hectic life.

Aku akhirnya nemu bedak yang murah tapi bagus. Ini dia, Sariayu Martha Tilaar Bedak Tabur Energizing Aromatic. Bedak ini kubeli dengan harga 8800 rupiah, murah sangat! Ada beberapa pilihan warna, kayak kuning langsat dan sawo matang, aku pilih yang kuning langsat.

Bedak ini tempatnya warna putih dan cuma ditutup sama plastik bening untuk memisahkan sponge dan bedaknya. Kalo plastiknya dilepas, DUAR! rontoklah dia kemana - mana. Ga praktis ah, mungkin lebih baik kalau plastik bening ini dilubangi kecil - kecil supaya bedaknya bisa keluar tanpa harus membuka plastik pemisah.

Bedak ini wangi! Wanginya enak sih, tapi yang berkulit sensitif ga akan suka. Terus bubuknya juga lumayan halus. Pigmentnya banyak, jadi coverage nya cukup baik. Kalo aku bilang sih antara sheer to medium yah.

Warnanya kuning banget. Terus kalau dipake sebelum bb cream yang kental kok kurang bagus ya? Cakey banget, terutama bagian hidung. Tapi, kalau bb cream ringan macam Skin 79 dream girls, dia bisa membaur dengan baik. Baurannya lebih bagus lagi kalau ga pake apa - apa, cuma pakai sunblock dan moisturizer aja, dia hasilnya nempel banget dan keliatan alus.

Bedak ini undertone nya kuning, padahal undertone ku pink. Jadinya bedak ini warnanya nggak seberapa masuk di aku. Bikin aku kelihatan tambah gelap. Coba liat foto dibawah, yang ga pake bedak keliatan lebih seger kan?

Tapi walau menggelapkan, ada baiknya juga sih, soalnya kulit mukaku lebih putih daripada badan. Bedak ini bikin kulit mukaku kelihatan natural dan kayak ga pake apa - apa. Padahal kalau diliat di atas,  coveragenya lumayan nutup di kulitku. Mungkin kuncinya cuma satu. Baur baur baur!

Bagusnya lagi, bedak ini tahan di muka. Ga bikin breakout, ga gampang oxidise dan ga gampang ngilang. Oil controlnya juga bagus, setelah lima jam aku tetep kelihatan segar. Kalaupun keluar minyak dan keringat, bedak ini jatuhnya malah glowy gitu, jadi ga masalah walaupun aku ga bawa kertas minyak. Overall, aku suka banget. Kalau aja ada shade yang lebih cocok buat aku, mungkin bedak ini bakal jadi bedak sehari - hariku.

REVIEW: Sariayu Shimmering Powder Bena

Glowing complexion and perfect contouring are two korean make up highlights. But little i know that this kind of look can be achieved through a local brand too. I used to think that local brand means "heavy" make up and colorful eyeshadows, whereas korean brand offers subtler color and natural make up.

This shimmering powder that i am going to review today is a great product from Sariayu. I mainly love this because it is an ALL KILL product. It contains four colors that can be used separately.

WHITE : Sparkly and glittery color. I use this for the tear duct, cupid bow, and sometimes i use this on top of a lipstick so it looks very shimmery

BROWN: Many people use this as bronzing color, but personally i think that it is hard to pick with bronzing brush. Instead i use this for eyeshadows. Perfect for everyday.

PINK: Beautiful subtle pink that is great for blush on.

Creme: This is the greatest part, i use this mainly to highlight my nose bridge, and if i blend this color with the others, i can use it as a highlight for my cheek bones. 

The packaging is sleek and and flower pattern just make it perfect. It also comes with brush and plastic pouch. But i lost them somewhere in my room :(. The brush was soft though. Very nice.


The texture can be a little bit powdery when i use it too much. But as long as i use it sparingly. It really flatters my face. The shimmer is also subtle, it accentuates my face with healthy glow without making it like a disco ball. I also have a similar product name PAC Shimmering powder, compares to that, this product provides more down to earth glow. PAC Shimmering powder is perfect for party look, whereas Sariayu shimmering powder is more into everyday look.

The glow last all day. I ussually apply this for my school make up and  my face still glowy after  4 -5 hours. For me,  i think it is a worthy products to buy. I would recommend this for:

1. Korean make up lover

2. Someone who loves to have dewy - glowy look

3. Someone who is looking for affordable but good shimmering powder
