Packaging~

I can`t say much about the packaging. It is just an ordinary packaging with clear plastic.

It looks cheap, but it is. The packaging serves the purpose, it won`t leak so far and the cap is tight.

What i don`t like...

- The liquid is too runny 

-It feels greasy on my face

- The shimmer wears off pretty easily, 1 -2 hours top

What i like...

- I like the pointy tip because it helps us to get enough amount of product without spilling any.

- Other than that, i love how the whip is blendable and easily spread, maybe because the runny concistency. Bare in mind that if you want that glowy look, you might want to skip powder. The magic wears off after applying powder, it just feels like you do not have any shimmer.

- The whip highlight well without making my face like a disco ball.

- The shimmers are subtle and it is tagged in a very affordable price.

ELF Essential Shimmering Facial Whip is an okay product for me. 

If you are looking for an affordable highlighter that this maybe it. 

It serves the purpose well, and it gives our face dewy look.

You can mix to your foundation and BB Cream 

or just apply it right on the spot that you want to highlight.

ELF Tone correcting concealer

Concealer is a must have for me because i have this very heavy black under eye circle. Ya lah, if you sleep late everyday, then you gonna be like me, looks tired even when you are not.

This concealer was tagged for a cheap price $1, in USA and my junior kindly brought back this for me. So, i literally pay only 9000 rupiahs for concealer. 9000?? Cheap!! yah i know, this never happen in my life before too hahaha

My shade is rosy beige and it comes with a clear plastic packaging like this. Not very cute lha, but it is practical. This way i can see how much product left inside.

What i like about this:

- Feels light on my face

- Easy to blend. Very easy, actually

- It doesn`t break me out

- Somehow acts as higlighter too, it brightens my face a little bit

What i dont like about ELF Tone correcting concealer:

- Just a sheer coverage

- Does not cover my under eye circle well

- Can be a little greasy sometimes

- The staying power is so so, around 4 hours.

THE SWATCH:

I use this on my natural make up tutorial "Just enough glow". Though does not cover as much, this baby gives you radiant skin, that is why i still keeping it hehehe.

ELF Contouring blush n bronzer Review

Hola chicas ^^, Whatzzz up? I hope you are doing great. Midterm is over for me. I was worried sick actually because i didn`t come to class these two months due to my sickness. One day before exam, i freaked out! Who doesn`t lha? But i managed to learn all the materials and prayed a lot. I really feel grateful to God and His blessings so that i can do great on exams. One thing i learn this week, do your best and God will do the rest.

Alright!

I also want to share this ELF Contouring blush and bronzer that i currently fell in love with. Many raves say that this is a dupe for NARS Orgasm and Laguna. 

It is shimmery peach colored blush and deep brown contouring powder. The contour powder has less shimmer on it, and it is not really noticeable. I really need to go lightly on application otherwise my face will look muddy and dirty. Peach blush on is fine, it is just like glow on me, and does not give much color. 

I love the packaging because it looks professional. It packed with black and sturdy plastic, complete with a mirror inside. Just handy for travelling and touch up.

When i swirl the brush, a lot of powders are flying over the air and dirtying my desk. Powdery! It is. Ack! So, next time around i try to just tap tap my brush, and this way it works a lot better ^^.

Pigmented color and it stays on about 4 - 5 hours on my combination skin. Pretty good! I love to put the contour powder on the hollow of the cheek and blush on the apples only. It looks like a gradation, gradually deeper to the jaw line.

I also did an FOTD using this contouring blush and bronzer on Fresh look post.

My opinion:
+ Affordable, around $3
+ Pigmented
+ Packaging looks professional
+ Looks great on me
- Powdery

Final verdict:
4,5/5 Totally recommended!

Just Enough Glow

Currently i am quite bored doing make up reviews hehehe. Do you? I hope you are not bored reading it, chicas. hehehe. So i thought of doing something different lha. This is my current favorite look, i name it just enough glow because it is really glowy and fresh. I will explain with Bahasa here. It has been a long time i haven`t do a post in Bahasa, i kinda miss it. 

Mulai dari wajah polos saya >.<. Kali ini pake BB Cream Skin 79 Dream girls. Ga tau kenapa semua BB Cream ku dari skin 79, mulai hot pink, gold dan dream girls ini. Aku sih pakenya gantian ya.. Kalau muka berasa kering, aku pake yang gold label. Kalo muka normal dan pengen terlihat sangat mulus, pake yang hot pink. Nah, waktu pengen make up ringan, aku pake Dream Girls ini. Buat teman - teman yang pengen nyobain bb cream, aku jual sample nya di jar, klik aja BLOGSALE di atas. Bukan kenapa - kenapa, aku suka banget ketiga bb cream ini, tapi isinya kebanyakan ga abis - abis, dan aku udah pengen banget bb cream yang baru hihihihihi.. 

Oya, cara pake dream girls ini biasa aku totol - totol di muka, terus diratain pake tangan. Soalnya teksturnya ringan banget kayak lotion. Kalo di aplikasiin pake foundation brush, malah habis banyak dan ga rata - rata.

Si Dream girls ini ringan banget, jadi ga bisa nutupin noda dan bekas jerawat. Aku pakai ELF Tone Correcting Concealer in Rose Beige supaya terlihat flawless. Terus dibedakin tipis - tipis pakai powder favoritku dari Neutrogena.

Alisnya dirapiin pake pensil alis viva. Jangan ditekan keras - keras ya, soalnya ni pensil pigmented banget dan hasilnya bakalan kayak sinchan >.< Hehehe. Untuk mata, aku pakai Luview Baked Eyeshadow in White Indigo. Kalau penasaran, kemarin aku udah review sodara - sodaranya lho. Ini eyeshadow sheer banget buat sehari - hari. Aku pake warna cokelatnya aja dan dibaur ke seluruh kelopak mata. Setelah itu, aku pake eyeliner dan mascara.

Biar terlihat bersemu cantik, aku pakai ELF contouring dan blush on powder. Contournya cuma di atas tulang rahang supaya pipiku yang seberat satu ton ini terlihat lebih langsing wakakakak.. Caranya gampang, aku kempotin pipi, nah daerah yang "masuk" ke dalam di kontur pakai warna cokelat ini. Pelan - pelan aja karena warnanya pigmented. Nah, pipinya pakai warna peach. Kalem banget, suka! 

Nah, keliatan lebih glowy ya? Padahal aku ga pake highliter atau shimmer powder lho.. Rahasianya ada di BB Cream, powder, dan blush on. Dream girls BB ini cenderung bikin wajahku glowy, demikian juga kandungan mineral yang ada di bedak Neutrogena-ku. Terus blush on dari ELF ini ada subtle shimmer nya yang bikin pipi jadi glowy. Aku suka banget make up an kayak gini. Paling cocok buat jalan - jalan dan ketemu pacar hehehe

Change Lippie, Change the mood!

I am so excited to share you these looks! Hehehe if you notice i have been starting on posting FOTD + semi tutorial, it is all actually start with these. I made these looks for Pink Buble Vanity Trove Challenge. At first i made the pinkbuble fire look, then take selcas. I found myself looking different than usual!! Then, i started to change the lip colors and guess what? My face looked different too. It was fun and i simply could not stop experimenting on new colors. I hope you join the challenge too, believe me it was fun! I hope you will like it as much as i do. 

Since it was fun, i think i will post more FOTD + semi tutorial from now on. I am no professional and i do fail on my make up sometimes. And all the pictures were not edited, i just make page but do not photoshop the pictures at all. Simply to say, because i can`t. #gaptek banget yaa. Hehehe so foolish >.< I know! So, if you find some pics are fugly, just don`t stare too much, okay? Hahahaha.

Here is step by step for this look........

1. Because i am monolid, i apply eyelid tape. Just to make my eyes look bigger.

2. Put BB Cream all over the face. 

How to use ala Hana: I dot the cream all over the face, then spread it out with foundation brush. This foundation brush is ELF Professional Foundation Brush. It will look streaky at first, but pat the bb cream with the sides of the brush. The cream will get soaked onto your pores, leaving you with a smooth looking face.

3. Contouring is tricky for me, sometimes it got really streaky hehehe. I just play safe with using PAC Cream foundation. If it got streaky i will just powder it out to "Hide" it. Hehehe. I matte my face out with Marcks powder in Rose.

4. Put pink blush on. Here i use Maybelline clear smooth blush on in FRESH ROSE. Then i apply shimmer, i use Bobbi brown shimmering brick. Wanna know the technique? Hehehe again lha, i do some experiment inspired by Ce Elrica`s blog. I got inspired a lot ya know :). This blog is just awesome lha. Oya CLICK HERE for the technique.

5. Get to work on the eyes! Here i use my Sariayu Pallete, and use Salem and white colors. Then i groom my eyebrows with Viva eyebrow pencil.

6. Put colors on! Hehehe suka - suka loe deh warna lipsticknya! The lipstick color is really up to you, depend on your mood! Here i use any lip color from my NYX All that i`ve ever wanted make up pallete

Ini dia hasilnya main lenong - lenongan! Here is the result! hohohoho.. I was amazed with the result, different lip colors really change the whole look. Hehehe dari wajah cewek innocent sampai wajah tante garang, semua lengkap dah! hehehe.. So how da ya think?

REVIEW: E.L.F Studio Stippling Brush

Hi, beauties :). I want to share about E.L.F Stippling Brush. If you wonder what stippling brush is, it is actually a brush for applying face product, wet or dry. For complete information, here is the description from ELF website

The layered bristles create a soft airbrushed look that's perfect for applying foundation or adding colour definition to cheekbones or highlighting with soft layers. Use this brush with any liquid or powder face product such as foundation, blush or bronzer to build your coverage from sheer to heavy.

Personally, i use this brush for applying my NYX cream blushes. It works well. My blushes are in rose petal and glow, it is very pigmented. So, when i apply it with my hands, it turns out to be too much. The best way to apply it is with this stipple brush. It blends the product to a smooth finish.


Sometimes, i use it for powder blush and highlighter. Works like charm also. This brush picked up the product evenly, so it would end up looking natural on my face.


But somehow, i feel like i can`t use this to apply liquid foundation or BB cream. It waste so much product, takes more time to apply, and also the bb cream looks streaky and uneven. I wonder if the problem is my lacking skill because many other bloggers said it works well to apply liquid foundation and BB cream too. Do you have this brush? If you have tips to apply foundation/ bb cream with this brush, please share it with me too ^^..

I find the handle is very sleek and ergonomic. It is just well fit to my hands. Not too big, not too small

The brush itself is not very dense. It is made of taklon ( idk what it is, maybe something synthetic >.<). Good thing about taklon is it doesn`t shed, washed easily, and have high flexibility. I washed this nearly every other day, but then the bristles never shed once. The bristle is easily stained tho. But overall, this is a very recommended brush. It is affordable, yet works like a charm
