Sariayu 25 Best Choice Colors Eye Shadow Pallete Review

Morning, ladies!
I seriously love this kind of morning, i especially woke up early today.
Just sitting around, read a romantic novel and ponder.
Ya, ponder and think how i can learn from my mistake yesterday.
I seriously pay the price for being too curious, wanting to shaken other`s privacy and end up making someone precious to me embarassed. I learn and i promise myself to never do something like that again.

Anyhow, today i am back with another pallete review from Sariayu, a local brand from Indonesia.
During 25 years, Sariayu has continuously making a color trend, unceasingly depict natural richness and Indonesian culture. This pallete is the best choosen colors from 25 years of color trend.

Amount:
62, 5 grams

Price:
I forgot mine, but i think it is about 140.000 rupiahs or about $14

Packaging and Overall Products

Packed in feminine purple cardbox that has magnetic lid, i personally think the packaging is pretty. It comes with two applicators which i lost already. Sorry >.<, but as i remembered, the applicators were two spongeheads and they do not work properly. Just so - so applicators. It comes with beautiful 25 colors, mostly shimmer and satiny. Hmm also two creme shadows.

Here i did some swatch, no primer whatsover,
i just casually dip my fingers in and you can see how pigmented it is.
Even pale colors like white and gold appear nicely.

What i love from this pallete
- Affordable and available in Sariayu Counter everywhere
- The colors are true, pigmented and nice despite the affordable tag.
Do you know the difference between high end and low end eyeshadow?
High end eyeshadow ussually has more pigment inside, so what you see in the cake ussually their true colors. Nah, now that with Sariayu pallete i got true colors, this must be a great deal. Affordable with the quality of high end products.
- Some of the colors like brown and gold are very versatile to go for party.
- It is not chalky

What i dislike about the pallete
- I was hoping the applicators were nicer. I would definitely keep them if they do.
- I find it a little bit powdery. Hmm, just do not forget to swept away any fallouts.

Conclusion

All in all this pallete is limited edition and definitely a great buy.
I have had this for a long time, and still has this build up curiousity to make more looks.
It simply does not bore me out, which is a great thing.
The colors are true, and last long even without primers.
The pallete is one of the must have for a party make up stash!

Cheers,
Hana

MOnshu Girl Inspired Look

Just a while ago Shu Uemura launched their newest make up collection with Monshu Girl as the icon. The collection is so darn cute! I am in love with their fashion false eyelashes. They are just so eyecatching with that combination of black and red!Don`t you think so?

Now meet this lovely Monshu Girl hehehe..
.
.
.
To celebrate their launching @shuuemuraID, shu uemura official twitter is making a Monshu Girl LOOK A LIKE make up competition. It ends 23 November 2012. You still got time, girls. Go join! It is so fun to try! hehehe

I join too, of course, not wanting to let go to try out new look on me + hoping to win 1.000.000 rupiahs worth of Shu Uemura Monshu Girl Product.

Contoh yang aku tiru hehehehe

This is my version of Monshu Girl. I look weird? I knoww.. hahaha.. but i think that is the point of being Monshu Girl, weirdly pretty.

I am sorry i forgot to take pictures of each step hehehe. I was not in the mood for it because Surabaya is tooooooo HOT! Crazy, in my mind i was just thinking like this, "Quick finish it! Before your foundation melts!" hahahaha. So I think i will describe, i hope you understand.

Eyes:
1. Apply a shimmery white eyeshadow all over the lids, focusing on your inner corner and tear duct.
2. Apply black eyeshadow all over the lid, skip your inner corner and apply A LOT on your outer corner. Your focus is to make the color opaque. Don`t forget to make a sharp V shape.
3. Then apply silver eyeshadow and put it in the middle of the eyelid, just above where your eyeballs ussually located. Blend everything and make sure there is no sharp edges.
4. Take out you gel eyeliner and make a curve. Blend the line with sponge tip applicator
5. Take out liquid eyeliner and make "fake" bottom eyelashes.
6. Put FOUR fake eyelashes to your eyes. Glue them together and make sure they are CETAR MENGGELEGAR! hahahaha just like Syahrini.

Product used
Sariayu Anniversary Pallete
Bobbi Brown eyeliner in Black Ink
Bobbi Brown Brushes
Maybelline Hypersharp eyeliner
Four False eyelashes

Face:
1. I just use two way foundation. This kind of foundation melts easily on me and not very long lasting. But yeah, it is enough to cover all the imperfections for those 3 hours self photo session hehehe

Product used:
Caring colors everlast in Pink Silk
Revlon New Complexion two way foundation in Tender Peach
ELF Studio Blush on in Pink Passion
NYX Single eyeshadow in Brown for contouring

Kayak ibu ibu banget yak? Plak!
hahaha

Lips:
Covergirl gloss balm no 220
La tulipe lipstick from my La tulipe pallete

Hehehe i try to sideswept my bangs too, and i look like oldschool girl! I like it this way though.
And, i think this is the end of my ramblings about Monshu Girl.
Hehehe i hope you enjoy it, and if you have critics to tell me, please do tell.
I am still learning my make up and do need a lot of suggestions hehehe.

Ok, i will go now,
I love you all, chicas,
Sleep well

FOTD: Rainbow on my eyes

Hi everyone, how are you? It is hot and humid here in Surabaya. I am sweating a lot and the mosquitos are flying around >.< . How about your town? Is it like this too?

Currently, i am competing in a make up contest held by PAC. The theme is about colorful make up. When i read this, i was startled. Colorful make up? I suddenly thought of a very extreme make up, "lenong face", and heavy make up. But well, i wanted to create something more natural. Colorful but wearable. I like a look that when you walk by, people are astonished by your "so called natural" beauty. But when they look closer, they would see something more. ART. They would say something like " whoo, the eye make up is cool!" or something like that :P hehehe..

Hmm, this is the wearable version of the colorful make up. When i make this look i wanted to emphasize on glowy face, that is why i used a lot of highlighter and shimmer. Hopefully it would not look too much tho? What do you think?

For this look i am using:
Nature Republic Vanilla Sky foundation
Maybelline concealer in sand beige
Marcks Powder in Cream
Maybelline Moisture Sensation in Angel Rose
Aubeau eye primer
Sariayu Eyeshadow Pallete

Ciaaa.. here are the cam whoring pics..

I change the lipcolor to red. I end up looking like MAKCIK instead. Huaa really unable to pull off red color..

And this is the official pic that i send to PAC Website. Anybody join this too? Please leave a comment with a link below, i will certainly like and support your photo :). I hope you can win!

And these are the eyes. I admit i really have to work on my eyebrow. I am so bad at drawing eyebrow. If you girls know some good tutorial or wanna teach me personally please let me know hehehehe.

Just a little trick, with this look i am using a clear tape conecting the outer corner of my eyes to outer corner of my eyebrow. So that i can achieve a clean - sharp angle.

BYEEE.. <3 hana

Review Sariayu Milk Cleanser and Face Tonic in CANANGA

What is this?

It is milk cleanser and face tonic from Indonesia Local Brand called

Sariayu. It is formulated for normal skin and enriched with

peppermint oil as aromatherapy, cananga oil to smoothen the skin and

areca extract to maintain skin elasticity.

My opinion

In my personal taste, I trust my skin care to local Indonesian product.

It was because when I was living in United States, all the Indonesian

skin care products I brought had failed to protect my skin. Vice versa,

when I brought some local American brand to Indonesia, it did

nothing to my skin. So, I concluded that local product would

understand my skin better lha J.

Anyway, I have been repurchasing this product three times now and

so far I love it very much. The smell is very nice and not

overwhelming. Yumm.. it smells like cananga flower. The packaging

is simple. It is in plastic and has white color. It is good lha, so I am

not afraid I might break it hehehehe

It is affordable for everyday use, I forgot the exact price, maybe

around 16.000 rupiahs or about 2USD for 150 ml, which last for a

month if I use everyday. Until now, I haven`t got any bad reaction

from using the product. My skin is always clean and smooth. Aaa,

overall this cleanser is my favorite lha

Overall:

+ Affordable

+ Great for my skin

+ Available locally

+ Nice Smell

RATING 5/5

REPURCHASE? Yeah, absolutely

FOTD: GOLD temptation

Here is another look that I created using my Sariayu Limited Edition Pallete. I am trying to create at least 25 looks before I move on and buy another pallete hehehe. Otherwise, I might end up wasting this pallete and cherish the new one :P.

Me and the beautiful pallete

this is my tutu for ballet, hehehe and i randomly taking a pic with my breakfast, a soya milk wkwkwk

I call this a gold temptation, using gold, black and white color. Creating a super glamor look for party.
Hmm, for the face I am using Caring colors BB cream all over my face, and then Revlon Touch and Glow Loose powder

Hi, Greeting! Welcome to my blog

For the eyes, using the gold eyeshadow, sweep it all over the lid. Then, using the black eyeshadow, create an inner V. Blend and stop at 1/3 of your lid. Next, go to your outer corner, create cat eye, and blend it inwards, and also stop at 1/3 of your lid

Sorry girls, the eyeshadows application is a lil bit messy :(

Next using a gel liner, here I am using Bobbi Brown, follow the cat eye from your black eyeshadow. Then take out your black eyeshadow once again, blend it in. Next, move on to the lower lash line, line it. Last, put on false eyelashes, and curl your upper and bottom lashes. For lips, I am using wardah nuddish peach and blend it together with Revlon Colorburst

The look is done J
