I am going to round up the best beauty products that i have always been reaching out this year

They are all my best friends, in charge of making me pretty everyday

I like it because it gives me luminous look like Korean Star, stays put for hours,
affordable, and cover very well.

Blush On

Price: 25.000 rupiahs/ $ 2
Who knows that an affordable product, only 20.000 - ish, can bring out a very good quality?
It is matte so it won`t exaggerate my big pores
Subtle and blended really well
It has this rosy color that makes me look fresh everyday
Plus, this blush is infused with nutrition, such as Hyaluronic Acid
Moreover it is INDONESIAN product! I love it even more hehehe

Loose Powder

Revlon Touch and Glow
Price: 60.000 rupiahs or $6
Say HI to my BB Creams best friend!
As you may know, BB Cream tends to have medium coverage
Touch and Glow helps refine my complexion and enhance my BB Cream,
creating a flawless complexion everyday.
It is affordable, good oil control, good coverage and finely milled powder.

Again, Revlon wins my heart~
This powder foundation did not catch my attention at first
But then i continue to fall in love with great coverage and staying power

Eyebrow Powder

Choco Eyebrow literally smells good like choco.
It provides nice color payoff and not very pigmented.
It is just right to color my "already thick" eyebrow

Eyeshadow

MUA pallete in Undressed
Price: 100.000 rupiahs or $10

I am blessed to be given a free Naked Pallete.
I happened to bought this before i got the pretty Naked.
Naked is more beautiful and has iridescent colors
But in some aspect i prefer MUA Undressed
Because it is affordable and a very good dupe of Naked.
Pigmented, blendable, pretty colors, PLUS....
I do not feel bad to use abundant amount
I can bring it everyday without worry that it may break or something

Liquid Eyeliner

Inez Liquid Liner 
Price: around 30.000 rupiahs or $3
It is not the best eyeliner ever but it has good quality.
Pretty black color, thin brush and good staying power makes me opt to this liner.

Gel Eyeliner

Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner
Price: Around $28
This is a gift that my business partner gave to me.
Seriously it is good, it is the only gel eyeliner that stays on my monolid.

It dries fast on my lid, stays well, pretty black color and many more!
I think i am willing to save my money for repurchase when i run out

Mascara

Silkygirl Eye Opener Mascara
Price: Around 30.000 rupiahs or $3
It does open my eyes~
Eye opener curls and add the length very well.
The thin applicator makes the mascara easier to apply

Lipstick

ZA Lips Plumper
Price: Around 70.000 or $7
They are very moisturizing, pretty colors and smells good.
I love using them everyday

Skin care

Hadalabo
Price: 35.000 to 150.000 rupiahs/ $4 - $ 15
I love the Gokujyun and Shirojyun series!
They make my skin feels supple and brighter

Mask

Dermal Mask
Price: 10.000 to 12.000/ $1
Dermal is very rich in nutrition, the essence is abundant
and i can feel the difference after using the mask.
I love this mask, recently i bought 30 of them for stock hehehe


For a college girl like me,
 i mostly love beauty products that has good quality, bundled in affordable tag.
It can be expensive, but it has to live up for the price.
I hope drugstore and local products continue to innovate and launch high quality products next year. With affordable price, of course~ tee hee
Anyhow, i am grateful that i got to try many beauty products this year.

Revlon Photoready Color Correcting Primer in 002 (Lavender) Review

Four years ago, i first knew about make up primer. Thanks to TLC`s "What not to wear" program!. Ussually, the pretty make up artist ( I forgot her name, blah!), put face primer and then face powder. The result? Glowy and very natural. Waaa, me want! And just this year i got to try my first make up primer. Hehehe.

My first primer is from REVLON, called Revlon Photoready Primer.

Description ( from www.revlon.com):

Lightweight primer smoothes skin while evening out skin tone with color correcting pigments that neutralize redness and uneven color. Wear alone or under foundation.

Amount:

Price:

 150.000 rupiahs or USD 14 on your nearby Revlon Counter

Packaging 4/5:

It comes in glass bottle. Hmmm, not so travel friendly but in the other side, it looks more elegant and has this pricey feelings. Hygienic! for it comes with a pump so  i don`t have to dig my fingers in to get some product

Finish and pigmentation 4/5:

Finish is matte with no coverage at all. The strange color of lavender actually going to turn translucent upon application. 

Oil Control and texture 5/5:

Texture wise, it is somewhat very soft. This primer will harden upon contact with air, i think. Because everytime i pump, there always this hard crystalized lotion and it is originally the leftover primer that stuck on the pump. Oil control is very good, i like it. It definitely makes my make up long lasting.

Conclusion 3/5:

This how the primer works on my skin. I took the pic two weeks ago, when my face broke out. It reduced the redness and pores, just like what it claims. But i do not like the fact that it feels hot and uncomfortable if i do not put thick moisturizer beforehand. Have you experience this? And also when i put this primer, it is very hard to work on foundation because the foundie or bb cream can`t glide easily,resulting in uneven application. I have to use buffing brush and slowly work on my foundie/ bb cream. Not convenience at all. If you do not mind these downsides, i think the primer will work just fine on you, because it does reduce the pores and redness while making the make up last longer.

MOnshu Girl Inspired Look

Just a while ago Shu Uemura launched their newest make up collection with Monshu Girl as the icon.The collection is so darn cute! I am in love with their fashion false eyelashes. They are just so eyecatching with that combination of black and red!Don`t you think so?

This is my version of Monshu Girl. I look weird? I knoww.. hahaha.. but i think that is the point of being Monshu Girl, weirdly pretty. 

I am sorry i forgot to take pictures of each step hehehe. I was not in the mood for it because Surabaya is tooooooo HOT! Crazy, in my mind i was just thinking like this, "Quick finish it! Before your foundation melts!" hahahaha. So I think i will describe, i hope you understand.

Eyes:

1. Apply a shimmery white eyeshadow all over the lids, focusing on your inner corner and tear duct.

2. Apply black eyeshadow all over the lid, skip your inner corner and apply A LOT on your outer corner. Your focus is to make the color opaque. Don`t forget to make a sharp V shape.

3. Then apply silver eyeshadow and put it in the middle of the eyelid, just above where your eyeballs ussually located. Blend everything and make sure there is no sharp edges.

4. Take out you gel eyeliner and make a curve. Blend the line with sponge tip applicator

5. Take out liquid eyeliner and make "fake" bottom eyelashes.

6. Put FOUR fake eyelashes to your eyes. Glue them together and make sure they are CETAR MENGGELEGAR! hahahaha just like Syahrini.

Face:

1. I just use two way foundation. This kind of foundation melts easily on me and not very long lasting. But yeah, it is enough to cover all the imperfections for those 3 hours self photo session hehehe

Battle of Loose Powders

 

Loose powder is a must have for us woman. How many of you start using loose powder as your very first make up? *raise my hand up* hehehe.. I bet many of you do. I am personally still a big fan of loose powder and will continue to do so. Right now i have 8 loose powder in my stash >.<  Why so much? Well, i am just curious and wanted to use the best lha. So, anyhow, i pick these four favorite affordable loose powders to be compared on. Curious? Please read more ^.^  

 

Aight, today i will comparing Sariayu Energizing Loose Powder in Kuning Langsat, Marcks Loose powder in Creme, Revlon Touch and Glow Loose Powder in Creamy Beige and also 3W clinic Loose Powder  in *23

*Packaging :
Sariayu and Marcks do not have sifter. You just simply open the plastic lid and pad the sponge down inside. Hmmm, i think it is very inconvenience, because i do spill a lot of product when try to open the lid >.<. Whereas Revlon and 3W Clinic come with sifter. It has tiny holes that works well on omitting powders. I always get sufficient amount for each application. Love ^.^. All four of them does not have cute packaging. But, i think Revlon does  better with the black cap. At least it looks professional.

* Pigmentation : 
Sariayu ( top left) and Revlon ( top right) have the most pigment. Sariayu (kuning langsat )is more to yellowish tone whereas my Revlon creamy beige has slightly pink undertone. Marcks ( bottom left) and 3W clinic ( bottom right) has very sheer pigmentation. It turns to be translucent when applied to the face. Pigmentation does talk about the coverage though, Revlon and Sariayu covers redness, whereas the bottow two powders only mattifying the face. I personally love pigment, so i will give higher rating to those which are pigmented.

Marcks: 3/5
 3Wclinic: 4/5

*Texture and Application:
3w Clinic has the finest milled powder out of four. It settles nicely on my face too. Sadly, it oxidise a lot on me. Revlon is good, it does not oxidise so much and does not cake. Marcks is powdery >.< and Sariayu is hard to blend and cakey. Both Marcks and Sariayu are not as finely milled as Revlon and 3W Clinic

*Longevity and oil control:
Revlon is the winner for longevity! It stays on the whole day. Next is Sariayu Energizing Powder. But, Marcks beats Revlon on oil control. Marcks, and 3W clinic are sheer and fade out in 3 hours or so >.< Ack! Especially for 3W, it oxidises, so it leaves out grey cast on my face.

*Scent:
Sariayu is the worst! Very strong and the scent is likely to be those grandma scent. The other three are deeply scented too. So, if you are sensitive to the perfume, these babies might not be for you. Since scent is very very subjective, i would not rate this. I just thought you would like to know hehehe.

Maen make up itu seru! Hehehe setelah bikin empat FOTD, sekarang jadi keterusan

Nah sekarang aku lagi pengen bibir gradasi ala Runway. Kayak di picture ini, bibirnya bergradasi dari merah ke merah tua. Matanya disapukan warna abu - abu

Nah ini dia versiku.. Kagak mirip sih hehehe. Ini FOTD dibuat di sela sela kebosanan belajar buat ujian, jadi lebih simpel. Aku juga ga punya lipstik warna merah tua yang pekat gitu, hehehe akhirnya pake yang ada aja deh, yang penting kan belajarnya.. Ya ndak? hohohoho

Matanya gampang, cuma perpaduan warna putih, abu abu dan hitam. Terus warna bibirnya pake warna pink dan merah. Gradasi bibir kayak gini bisa bikin kesan bibir yang kecil dan imut, lho !

Fair Look

This was me, the chubby girl who was about to go to the fair. 

This is how i would look everyday, i use BB cream but not with so much coverage. I don`t like high coverage foundie or bb cream for day, simply because it looks too fake. I want to be pretty but still looks like me hehehe.

The main feature was that shimmery pink  for lids and purple for outer V`s. Hehehe sorry you can`t see it well because they were very sheer (Korean eyeshadow, you know lhaaa). Then top it of with winged eyeliner.

Currently i am quite bored doing make up reviews hehehe. Do you? I hope you are not bored reading it, chicas. hehehe. So i thought of doing something different lha. This is my current favorite look, i name it just enough glow because it is really glowy and fresh. I will explain with Bahasa here. It has been a long time i haven`t do a post in Bahasa, i kinda miss it. 

Mulai dari wajah polos saya >.<. Kali ini pake BB Cream Skin 79 Dream girls. Ga tau kenapa semua BB Cream ku dari skin 79, mulai hot pink, gold dan dream girls ini. Aku sih pakenya gantian ya.. Kalau muka berasa kering, aku pake yang gold label. Kalo muka normal dan pengen terlihat sangat mulus, pake yang hot pink. Nah, waktu pengen make up ringan, aku pake Dream Girls ini. Buat teman - teman yang pengen nyobain bb cream, aku jual sample nya di jar, klik aja BLOGSALE di atas. Bukan kenapa - kenapa, aku suka banget ketiga bb cream ini, tapi isinya kebanyakan ga abis - abis, dan aku udah pengen banget bb cream yang baru hihihihihi.. 

Oya, cara pake dream girls ini biasa aku totol - totol di muka, terus diratain pake tangan. Soalnya teksturnya ringan banget kayak lotion. Kalo di aplikasiin pake foundation brush, malah habis banyak dan ga rata - rata.

Si Dream girls ini ringan banget, jadi ga bisa nutupin noda dan bekas jerawat. Aku pakai ELF Tone Correcting Concealer in Rose Beige supaya terlihat flawless. Terus dibedakin tipis - tipis pakai powder favoritku dari Neutrogena.

Alisnya dirapiin pake pensil alis viva. Jangan ditekan keras - keras ya, soalnya ni pensil pigmented banget dan hasilnya bakalan kayak sinchan >.< Hehehe. Untuk mata, aku pakai Luview Baked Eyeshadow in White Indigo. Kalau penasaran, kemarin aku udah review sodara - sodaranya lho. Ini eyeshadow sheer banget buat sehari - hari. Aku pake warna cokelatnya aja dan dibaur ke seluruh kelopak mata. Setelah itu, aku pake eyeliner dan mascara.

Biar terlihat bersemu cantik, aku pakai ELF contouring dan blush on powder. Contournya cuma di atas tulang rahang supaya pipiku yang seberat satu ton ini terlihat lebih langsing wakakakak.. Caranya gampang, aku kempotin pipi, nah daerah yang "masuk" ke dalam di kontur pakai warna cokelat ini. Pelan - pelan aja karena warnanya pigmented. Nah, pipinya pakai warna peach. Kalem banget, suka! 

Nah, keliatan lebih glowy ya? Padahal aku ga pake highliter atau shimmer powder lho.. Rahasianya ada di BB Cream, powder, dan blush on. Dream girls BB ini cenderung bikin wajahku glowy, demikian juga kandungan mineral yang ada di bedak Neutrogena-ku. Terus blush on dari ELF ini ada subtle shimmer nya yang bikin pipi jadi glowy. Aku suka banget make up an kayak gini. Paling cocok buat jalan - jalan dan ketemu pacar hehehe

Revlon Matte Lipstick in Pink Pout, Old but not Forgotten!

Hola, chicas! Today i want to share with you my old lipstick from Revlon. Tho old, i find myself keep using it. Its existence is unbeatable by new lipstick collection.  Please welcome, Revlon Matte Lipstick in Pink Pout! I got it for around 50.000 rupiahs or 5 USD at the local department store, and this is how it looks like.

I have to say that the packaging is quite boring. Black with one highlight of silver band. The packaging is made of a doff plastick, quite a loss  for me. This kind of plastic got dirty quite easily, and once it dirties, OH MY, quite difficult to re-clean. Aside of  the packaging, i am on love with the color, here is the swatch on my hand.

It is pink, with a hint of purple. It is matte, which is good for me because i have a thick lips. Glossy things will only emphasize it, whereas cute matte lipstick like this will bring the illusion of suede - like lips. This is how this lipstick looks like on me.

How? Looks good?

I find this lipstick is quite drying though not as bad as another matte lipstick that i own. So, certainly applying lipbalm first before this lipstick is a must for me. Despite the texture, it sits well on my lips without exposing dry parts and fine lines. Staying power is also great, it lasts the entire day. Around 4 or 5 hours if i do not eat anything, but even if i do, it still left me a hint of beautiful color.

I am quite satisfied with this lipstick performance. That is why i have been keeping it on my stash ^^. I do recommend this for fair skin espescially those with plump lips like me. Matte lipstick is a better choice for us. In the end of the day, i`d like to repurchase this lipstick in another colors. Hopefully i will love them too as much as i do for this Pink Pout shade!

Love: Eskimo ice cream, do you know this ice cream? It is some kind of hard ice cream made from natural ingredients. Loooveee it!

Hate: Wounds.. They are getting better now, but they still won`t allow me to move freely >.<

Revlon Nail Polish in Touch of Mauve Review

Living in a boarding house and live far from my family somehow force me to live independently and being money wise ( FYI: Doesn`t apply on cosmetic). It includes handwashing my laundry. That is why i don`t really do nails. Moreover, i am also sucks at doing nails. I rarely achieve that colored smooth and pampered looking nails.

I have a collection of nail polish tho, and this is my favorite. It is from Revlon and cost me around 30.000/USD 3. Yaa, affordable lha, moreover it comes in a pretty big bottle, so it is going to last for longer period. 

The color is pinkish mauve, and it applies easily. If i don`t do laundry, it lasts for quite a long time.  More than a week.

Kyaa, don`t laugh at it! Hahaha my application is so fugly ! Anyway this is how the color turns out. I love it, really suits my feminime self.
