NYX Round Lipstick in Harmonica

NYX Round Lipstick is very infamous due to their affordable price and great range of color. 

I am just soooo lucky to get one of them to try myself how great this baby is.

Is it like what people say? Or just another lipstick?

It claims to be anti smudging, velvety and long wearing.

As for the packaging it comes in twist off lipstick tube, just like another lipstick.

It looks cute and professional in black. I like their simple lace that they draw around the brand. I think it is adding some flair to it. The bottom is also clear and this way i can see what kind of color indise. Overall, The packaging is actually looks quite cheap, but yeah, it is! 

Ingredients:

Harmonica is light baby pink color that looks really nice if you mix with a deep red color applied in the middle of your lips. The pigmentation is light, and not that great. I do need to swipes more to get more pigmentation

The lipstick spreading thin and actually i love more constant pigment. It settles on fine lines and highlighting my chapped lips. Eck! The wear time is okay, 4 to 6 hours which is nice for an affordable lipstick. It tasted weird like soap and too creamy. If you left it outside the lipstick is going to melt and even losing its original shape.

TIPS: If this ever happened to you, then just put the lipstick inside the fridge and it will turn okay and harder. or simply depot it.

Cons:

- Smell and taste like soap. Eekkkk!

- Not too pigmented

- Too creamy and cannot stand the heat

MOnshu Girl Inspired Look

Just a while ago Shu Uemura launched their newest make up collection with Monshu Girl as the icon.The collection is so darn cute! I am in love with their fashion false eyelashes. They are just so eyecatching with that combination of black and red!Don`t you think so?

This is my version of Monshu Girl. I look weird? I knoww.. hahaha.. but i think that is the point of being Monshu Girl, weirdly pretty. 

I am sorry i forgot to take pictures of each step hehehe. I was not in the mood for it because Surabaya is tooooooo HOT! Crazy, in my mind i was just thinking like this, "Quick finish it! Before your foundation melts!" hahahaha. So I think i will describe, i hope you understand.

Eyes:

1. Apply a shimmery white eyeshadow all over the lids, focusing on your inner corner and tear duct.

2. Apply black eyeshadow all over the lid, skip your inner corner and apply A LOT on your outer corner. Your focus is to make the color opaque. Don`t forget to make a sharp V shape.

3. Then apply silver eyeshadow and put it in the middle of the eyelid, just above where your eyeballs ussually located. Blend everything and make sure there is no sharp edges.

4. Take out you gel eyeliner and make a curve. Blend the line with sponge tip applicator

5. Take out liquid eyeliner and make "fake" bottom eyelashes.

6. Put FOUR fake eyelashes to your eyes. Glue them together and make sure they are CETAR MENGGELEGAR! hahahaha just like Syahrini.

Face:

1. I just use two way foundation. This kind of foundation melts easily on me and not very long lasting. But yeah, it is enough to cover all the imperfections for those 3 hours self photo session hehehe

Maen make up itu seru! Hehehe setelah bikin empat FOTD, sekarang jadi keterusan

Nah sekarang aku lagi pengen bibir gradasi ala Runway. Kayak di picture ini, bibirnya bergradasi dari merah ke merah tua. Matanya disapukan warna abu - abu

Nah ini dia versiku.. Kagak mirip sih hehehe. Ini FOTD dibuat di sela sela kebosanan belajar buat ujian, jadi lebih simpel. Aku juga ga punya lipstik warna merah tua yang pekat gitu, hehehe akhirnya pake yang ada aja deh, yang penting kan belajarnya.. Ya ndak? hohohoho

Matanya gampang, cuma perpaduan warna putih, abu abu dan hitam. Terus warna bibirnya pake warna pink dan merah. Gradasi bibir kayak gini bisa bikin kesan bibir yang kecil dan imut, lho !

Change Lippie, Change the mood!

I am so excited to share you these looks! Hehehe if you notice i have been starting on posting FOTD + semi tutorial, it is all actually start with these. I made these looks for Pink Buble Vanity Trove Challenge. At first i made the pinkbuble fire look, then take selcas. I found myself looking different than usual!! Then, i started to change the lip colors and guess what? My face looked different too. It was fun and i simply could not stop experimenting on new colors. I hope you join the challenge too, believe me it was fun! I hope you will like it as much as i do. 

Since it was fun, i think i will post more FOTD + semi tutorial from now on. I am no professional and i do fail on my make up sometimes. And all the pictures were not edited, i just make page but do not photoshop the pictures at all. Simply to say, because i can`t. #gaptek banget yaa. Hehehe so foolish >.< I know! So, if you find some pics are fugly, just don`t stare too much, okay? Hahahaha.

Here is step by step for this look........

1. Because i am monolid, i apply eyelid tape. Just to make my eyes look bigger.

2. Put BB Cream all over the face. 

How to use ala Hana: I dot the cream all over the face, then spread it out with foundation brush. This foundation brush is ELF Professional Foundation Brush. It will look streaky at first, but pat the bb cream with the sides of the brush. The cream will get soaked onto your pores, leaving you with a smooth looking face.

3. Contouring is tricky for me, sometimes it got really streaky hehehe. I just play safe with using PAC Cream foundation. If it got streaky i will just powder it out to "Hide" it. Hehehe. I matte my face out with Marcks powder in Rose.

4. Put pink blush on. Here i use Maybelline clear smooth blush on in FRESH ROSE. Then i apply shimmer, i use Bobbi brown shimmering brick. Wanna know the technique? Hehehe again lha, i do some experiment inspired by Ce Elrica`s blog. I got inspired a lot ya know :). This blog is just awesome lha. Oya CLICK HERE for the technique.

5. Get to work on the eyes! Here i use my Sariayu Pallete, and use Salem and white colors. Then i groom my eyebrows with Viva eyebrow pencil.

6. Put colors on! Hehehe suka - suka loe deh warna lipsticknya! The lipstick color is really up to you, depend on your mood! Here i use any lip color from my NYX All that i`ve ever wanted make up pallete

Ini dia hasilnya main lenong - lenongan! Here is the result! hohohoho.. I was amazed with the result, different lip colors really change the whole look. Hehehe dari wajah cewek innocent sampai wajah tante garang, semua lengkap dah! hehehe.. So how da ya think?

NYX CREAM BLUSH in GLOW

This is by far is my and my sister favorite cream blush. We call it "cherrybelle blush" because it gives us a pink flush resembling a doll`s pink cheek. It looks better and pinker in Reta`s face because she has beige skin tone. This cream blush is from NYX brand, shade 05 GLOW.

The blush is packaged in a plastic packaging. Simple. The transparent lid is useful so i can see the color. For around 70.000 rupiahs, it has a lot of products inside. It will last very long.

It doesn`t make me break out and the color pay off is great. IT IS VERY PIGMENTED. Surely. Three dots can cover the cheek and it will last the whole day. The whole day here means around 8 hours.

I ussually apply this after bb cream, and then cover it with my loose powder because it is too pigmented. I dot on my face, and then blend it with my blush brush. I like the way it looks on my face because it looks so natural. It is like my cheek is naturally has that doll look flush :)

Again, i totally love the final result. This is my on the go blush and i always have this on my purse. Not too mention it can be used as a lip color too, tho it seems to be a bit drying on my lips. This blush is very recommended!

NYX Diamond Sparkle Lipstick in Sparkling Apricot Review

 NYX are famous of their lipstick. NYX round lipstick and NYX black label are every beauty lovers must - have. Many good reviews are written and rave emerges in every blog. So here it is, another lipstick line from NYX called Diamond Sparkle Lipstick.

PACKAGING

Packaged in black plastic, there is nothing special in the packaging. But somehow it delivers the classy feeling and simplicity. The cap is tight. I also love the idea how they are using transparent plastic in the bottom, therefore i could see clearly the color inside without opening the lid.

PIGMENTATION, LONGEVITY, APPLICATION and TEXTURE

PIGMENTED! Just one swap and my lips are shimmery and very apricot - like. The texture are creamy, it glides well on my lips. Though it is creamy, upon usage my lips feel a little bit dry. It stays for around three hours, after that whats left on my lips are cute shimmers and hint of apricot. Even when it fades, it still left away a cute shimmer.

OVERALL

SHIMMERY? SPARKLY? Totally true. I can see an apparent shimmer in one swap. My lips look fuller too because shimmer catches the light and give illusion of a fuller lips. However, in my taste, this lipstick is too much for everyday use, too "bling - bling". But for party? Definitely YES. I would recommend this lipstick for shimmer lovers.

MISS A "Touch" Inspired Look

Hi girls J How are you?

Today I come up with a look inspired by new MISS A song – TOUCH. Have you listen to it? If you have, you got to agree with me that the song is EDGY J, the make up is edgy as well.

Now here it comes my version hehe

Face

Put on foundation, here I use Revlon New Complexion Foundation

After that, contour your face.

Contouring is easy, for you who has a round face like mine, you can follow the example above. Contouring can make our face thinner than usual. Take a creamy foundation, it has to be two or three shades darker than your actual skin tone. Here I use PAC creamy foundation number 8. Using a concealer brush, I draw a “triangle” shape like that. The triangle shape is below your cheek bone and a little bit along your jawline. The second contour is for the nose. It is to make my nose appears sharper, just like those Miss A’s member J. It looks fugly at first, but don’t worry, after you blend, everything back to normal hehehe.

Tips, when you blend, don`t drag your sponge, instead dab it unto your face. If you drag, the brownish color will go everywhere, leaving the spot it meant to be and your contouring attempt will utterly fail.

After that, conceal imperfection. As for me, I conceal my big – red zit and the zit scar. I also put a little bit below my eyes to bringten them up. Check your foundation again, make sure it blends real well, and you should see that your skin is flawless. After you are sure, you can put on powder, to set them up.

In this stage, you are supposed to have a great smooth canvas ( read:face) to work with J. 

Fill your eyebrows, here I am using a brown matte eyeshadow. Now it is time to work on the eyes. This look is easy. First, put a light grey eyeshadow unto your lids and your inner corner.

Sharper V ( excuse my eyebrow yaa so ugly >.<)

 Then, create depth unto your outer V using a darker grey. Here I smudge it also unto the creases. Taking out your gel eyeliner, here I am using Bobbi Brown Black Ink, recreate your outer V, the lower V should be longer than the upper V, then, make a winged cat eye like this.

After that taking the dark grey once more, use it to blend the upper V line. J Now, grab your gel eyeliner, create, another V, to your lower line. And then add the gel eyeliner unto your lid. After you are done, take out beautiful – glittery silver eyeshadow. Here I use glitterati glitter pallete from NYX. Dab it just a little bit under your eyeball J. Now your eyes are done!

This is the famous  Korean lips. It is very easy to make. Here I use tony moly lip tint. I dab it on the innerside of my lip. After that I blend it out. Then, take out your lip concealer, if you don’t have, you can use a face concealer also. Here I use Maybelline mineral concealer in Sand Beige. Blend the two colors together until you achieve the gradient lip J

Yaaa, The MISS A look is done. Time to camwhoring :p hahaha.
